May Membership Meeting

Join us on Tuesday, May 20, for our Membership Meeting featuring Kaila Johnson, Director of Workforce Development & Industry Engagement at Moore Tech.  Ms. Johnson will give us a brief history of Moore Tech and its certification programs and how we can help keep their skilled and certified graduates in Memphis.

About the Speaker: Kaila Johnson

Kaila Johnson is a dynamic workforce development leader with a decade of experience in relationship-building, strategic planning, and operational efficiency. Originally from Fredericksburg, VA, she earned a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. As the Director of Employer Relations and Workforce Development at Moore Tech College, she cultivates industry relationships and expands job placement opportunities for students. Throughout her career, Kaila has spearheaded initiatives to increase access to vital support services and create workforce pipelines with leading organizations. Passionate about community involvement, she enjoys playing tennis with Tennis Memphis, attending local events, painting with acrylics, and diving into true crime podcasts.
